If you are interested in one of the dogs from our “Available Adoptions” section or would like to be pre-approved to adopt, please complete our Adoption Application. Download the application here, and submit completed applications to happidogrescue@gmail.com for approval.
Owner Surrender Program
HappiDog offers this program to help find new homes for dogs when owners are unable to keep their pets. This is an alternative to placing their dog in a public shelter or animal control facility.
- Contact HappiDog via our “Get In Touch” Form or email indicating your interest in participating in the Owner Surrender Program.
- Provide a copy of your dog’s vet records including the dog’s age and heartworm status.
- Meet with HappiDog representatives for an evaluation of the dog. This includes a temperament test to ensure the dog is friendly with other animals.
- If accepted, the owner will surrender the dog to HappiDog. Acceptance into the Owner Surrender Program is limited and subject to foster availability.
- HappiDog will ensure all accepted dogs are properly vetted and placed into new forever homes.
